School Discipline
School Discipline Guidelines:
- Maintain a professional appearance by adhering to the school uniform policy, ensuring attire is neat and shoes are well-polished.
- Punctuality is key to success; arrive at school on time and avoid tardiness.
- Uphold principles of fairness and honesty in all academic endeavors.
- Demonstrate courtesy and respect towards parents, teachers, and visitors at all times.
- Take responsibility for the upkeep of school property, contributing to a clean and tidy environment.
- Dispose of waste appropriately by using designated bins for papers, wrappers, and other refuse.
- Refrain from bringing valuables such as jewelry, watches, or unnecessary personal items to school.
- Attend school consistently, avoiding unnecessary absences following holidays or exams to maintain continuity in learning.
Rules & Regulations
Rules and Regulations:
- Students must arrive at school at least 5 minutes before the morning bell rings. Early arrival exceeding 15 minutes before the start time is not permitted. Students are required to carry their School Diary and Identity Card daily.
- All students are expected to label their belongings with their name, class, and section to avoid loss. The school cannot be held responsible for lost items.
- Any student found damaging school property will be liable for the cost of repair or replacement, which will be borne by their guardians or parents.
- Continuous absence from school for three or more days without prior notification or submission of an application will result in the student’s name being removed from the school rolls.
- Parents may schedule meetings with the Principal between 9:00 a.m. and 11:00 a.m. only.
- The Accounts Office will be open for visits from 8:30 a.m. to 12:00 noon (summers) and 9:30 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. (winters).
- Once students enter the school premises, they will not be permitted to leave until school hours end. No short leave or half-day leave will be granted during school hours.
- Parents are encouraged to bring to the Principal’s attention any errors or discrepancies in their child’s correction work or incomplete corrections in their notebooks.
- Students suffering from contagious diseases likely to affect others’ health should not be sent to school. The school reserves the right to send such children back home.
- Parents must inform the class teacher immediately of any changes in address or telephone number.
- Parents/Guardians are responsible for ensuring their ward(s) complete all assigned schoolwork.
- Parents/Guardians must review and sign the diary daily. All inquiries in the diary must be answered promptly.
- Proper school uniform must be worn within the school premises, during functions, and picnics.
- Conveyance facility will be withdrawn from students who fail to maintain discipline.
- Fees must be paid by the specified date. A fine of Rs. 20/- per day will be charged for delays.
- Students with pending fees for three months will have their names struck off. A fee of Rs. 500/- will be charged for re-admission.
- Students absent for the first three days of the opening session or after holidays will have their names struck off from the school rolls.
- Parents must promptly collect children who go by their own conveyance after school. The school will not be responsible for children after school hours.
- In case of emergencies during school hours, children will be released only to parents. No friend or relative will be permitted to collect the child on their behalf.
- The school reserves the right: a) To deny entry to students not adhering to the school uniform policy. b) To suspend students with unsatisfactory academic progress or conduct harmful to others. c) To remove students’ names from the school rolls after failing twice in the same class or three consecutive years. d) Not to issue progress reports and Transfer Certificates to students with pending school dues.
